Discussed Garage Sale.  Next year, need more planning, Jim Walsh needs more help.  Apparently, everything went very well.

County has shown planting sites for the first mid island.  Possibly more ground cover.

Discussed Disaster Plan Meeting scheduled for May 10th – 10:30 am  to 12:30 pm

Need to prepare program for audience and get them distributed.

Trailers are gone from old school site.

Dumpsters scheduled for Saturday,  April 12, 2008.

Volunteers to monitor the loading of the dumpsters:

Sarah & Allan Mollison, Bill Webb, John Trigueiro, Fred and Joan Hoffmann

Bill Webb announced that he will be leaving Northbridge and will relinquish  his position on the board.   We thank him for his help!

Report of $3,915.53 in bank account.

Next board meeting scheduled for May 5th.  Since the Disaster Plan Meeting will occur May 10th, Lou and Barbara Przetak will be working overtime on this!


March 3rd Meeting - Northbridge Home Owners Association

Noted that work is continuing to obtain enough signatures to require a vote for location of Marin Security Building.

Lou Przetak reported on meetings with county officials regarding CSA-9 for the center strip.  Has meeting scheduled for Thursday, 06 March, with county on the first island in center strip.  Lou continues to talk to county officials about proper care for all of center strip.  County working on design, fabrication, and installation of hand rail on stairs leading to school ground.  (The Madison Street thruway)

Decision made to maintain dates for yard sales ( April 5th and 6th)  and dumpster day April 12th.

Discussed plans for a meeting to discuss the County Disaster Plan.  Tentative date set for Saturday, May 10th, at the pool.  Will need notices to residents.  Need to check with county to see if the 10th is acceptable to them.

The proposed tax increase for homes in the Santa Venetia Flood Control area was discussed.  Should assist Santa Venetia Neighborhood Association in their efforts.

A meeting by the Facilities Advisory Committee (San Rafael Schools) was held at Coleman School.  Purpose was to discuss uses for several surplus school properties.  Old Gallinas would affect Northbridge.  Suggested a letter to the San Rafael City Schools to request notification of proposed actions on Old Gallinas site.

Bank Balance $3,915.53  - 

132 residents have paid dues.

Next meeting set for Monday, April 7th at 7 p.m.
